IRIScan Pro 5 - My scanner is not recognized by my computer

If your IRIScan Pro 5 is not recognized by your computer, it can be due to multiple reasons:

  • Make sure that you plugged the USB cable in the scanner and in your computer
  • Make sure that you plugged the small end of the power adapter into the power jack of your scanner.  Insert the other end into an appropriate power outlet.
  • Make sure that the correct software is installed
