The translation works in either direction for the following languages.

Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian,
Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Ukrainian.

To use:

1. Swipe left on the home screen to find the Scan translation app.
2. Select this app to open it.
3. Select the settings icon ⚙ to set the language combination settings.
4. Select the scan language (source) and the translation language (target) from the two scroll wheel menus.
5. Select ✓ to validate your choice and come back to the previous screen OR select X  to cancel and come back to the previous screen.
6. Scan the text line. Wait for the device to process the translation. The original line is spoken and the translation is displayed on the screen.
7. Select original to listen to the original result or select translation to listen to the translated result.
8. Select the back arrow < to go back to the home screen.
